We were naked and now we are wearing a jacket, Mattia Binotto applauds Ferraris resurgence

Mattia Binotto admits a good surge in the results of Ferrari after a depressing two years in succession for the team. Ferrari’s F1-75 had put up a great show this season, with its pace and accurate Aerodynamics, Ferrari came straight up for a fight in the championship. Though things didn’t end well for the team, it’s a way they move forward with a successful car they have managed this season.

Ferrari has ruined all their chances for the championship even though they build a proper championship fighting car. Mattia Binotto takes out all the odds for his mistakes in the championship and takes things as a success with a competitive car. Strategy and Reliability could be a matter of concern for the team but it would take a while to clear all its mistakes.

“The goal was to get back to being competitive: we were naked in 2020, here we are in a suit and tie.. For 21 years never so strong in qualifying: 8 poles out of 13. The engine, a leap in performance never seen in 27 years that I have been with Ferrari. Our mole? Reliability, there was no time to cure it, hours at the counter were limited,” said Mattia.

Mattia Binotto reflects on Ferrari’s lost points this season

Ferrari has almost lost more than a hundred points over the last 13 races due to their mistakes all over the races. Mattia opens up about the mistakes and wants to get things into a very stable position.

“Reliability, there was no time to cure it, hours at the counter were limited. Reliability is the first of the problems, before the strategies,” said Binotto.

Ferrari is currently losing out to Red Bull with a 100 points gap. Belgian GP could turn things worse with Sergio Perez on the top and could overtake Charles in the championship as the points gap is only 5 points.
